It is also the only chiropractor who continued his training at Aylmer and Hull in the Plateau, and one of the few in Gatineau in the Outaouais. It adapts the traditional chiropractic care to customize the treatment for each athlete and this, regardless of sport. He is using : Kinesiotaping (Rocktape, K-Tape, Leukotape), Active Release Technique (A.R.T) and Graston technique. Dr Claude A. Gauthier, chiropractor DC, was part of the Medical Team at the International Jeux de la Francophonie. He is well versed in different approach in sports injuries. Under the Ontario Minister of Health, he joined Dr Julia Alleyne, MD, DipMSport, in producing a course available to all Medical Doctors in Canada. She was the Chief Medical Officer of the Pan American Games in Toronto and the head of the Canadian Medical team at the London Olympic Games. Dr Gauthier recently attended the International convention of the Federation Internationale de la Médicine du Sport.
