These interests brought her to the University of Ottawa and Carleton University where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours, and psychology degree. Following this, she was admitted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where she studied anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, orthopedics, diagnostics and radiology. After 4 years of study, she received her doctorate in chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
