Readaptation exercise
In front of a mirror, open your mouth VERY slowly up to a finger wide, while making sure that there is no deviation of your jaw. Then, close it again very slowly. Do 2-3 repetitions of this each time you brush your teeth.
Once you are able to open your jaw without deviation, you can progress by opening your mouth more than a finger wide. These exercises should be done very slowly and your jaw should not deviate at all.
